Short distance or not the time invested can still be the same. Which is precisely why I have this mindset: what's the point in doing 5 jobs when I can just pick one that will last the length of time those 5 jobs would have lasted? On top of that you get paid a lot more for longer distances than compared to short hauls. How many short distance jobs does a typical person do when playing ETS2? Hell, how many hours do people clock per day on games in general? Probably enough to almost add up to those hours anyway (maybe more). I don't mean I literally spent 108 hours from start to finish that would be odd, it was a few hours each day.Īs for it being a game and people not wanting to sit 6-8 hours on it. Also there's nothing saying that you have to complete a job in one sitting because I can tell you right now that 10,000 mile run I done months ago on ETS2 was panned out over 4 and a half ish days real time. There would still be the option of going with short distances like most people do already, the game would be exactly the same just the distances would be longer than they are right now. Lumpy, nothing I said implies forcing day long or whatever jobs on those that wouldn't want them.
